Hey BirchBot readers, today we’re excited to share the latest updates on the team! Tori and Matthew were fully immersed in wiring the robot, connecting each component to the central system with precision. They made sure every wire was secure, organized, and insulated to avoid any issues down the road. While they focused on the hardware, Alex was diving deep into the subsystems, writing the code that would bring the robot to life. He was working on everything from movement controls to sensor feedback, ensuring the robot could respond smartly to its environment. Alex was meticulous, ensuring that the code would integrate seamlessly with the hardware Tori and Matthew were assembling. As the team collaborated, they balanced the hands-on work of wiring with the complexity of coding, each piece coming together to create a fully functional robot.
